FAQ


Q: WHEN DOES MY ORDER SHIP OUT? 

A: All items are packaged and mailed from Atlanta, GA, U.S.A. within 3-7 business days of purchase date but sometimes even sooner! Sidenote: expect confetti :)

Q: WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS POLICY?

A: We accept certain unworn/undamaged items back if requested within 3 days of delivery. Customer will be responsible for cost of shipping item back to us and will only be given a refund after the item's inspection has been cleared upon return. Please always provide us the tracking number for your return.

If for any reason the item is damaged, has wear/tear/smell/pet hair of any kind, this will void the refund agreement. NO EXCEPTIONS.

*If anything goes wrong with delivery, it is the customer's responsibility to follow up with the post office and/or file the appropriate claims for reimbursement. 

Additionally -

PLEASE NOTE: Items that are ineligible for refund or exchange are as follows: 1.) Anything labeled/listed as a FINAL SALE product, and 2.) Items that have GLASS elements cannot handle the wear and tear of being re-packaged for return & are all in as-is/fragile condition.

All other *approved* returnable items must be unused, pre-authorized and in original package or container to receive a refund or credit. 

In regard to RECEIVING an order - it is up to the customer to notify #itME if the item does not show up within 7 days of order being placed/shipped. Once the order is shipped/delivered it is considered to be in the possession of the recipient successfully, unless informed otherwise within the stated timeframe. In order to trace a package or try to determine what has transpired during shipment, we need to be notified in a timely manner if not received, and the sooner the better. We can then initiate a trace and inspection for the shipped parcel with the carrier. After 14 days OR upon confirmation of delivery by carrier's tracking #, the customer is presumed to have possession of the order without issue. 



Q: HOW DO YOU RECOMMEND I CLEAN MY DENIM ITEM(S)?

A: Wash inside-out with cold water and air dry (or in the dryer on LOW but we prefer the dryer be avoided more then not to avoid potential harm to the artwork).

 

Q: Why do you tear off the labels? 

A: As part of our upcycling "process" and in protest of branding/labeling. Many people are owned and obsessed and then eventually possessed by purchasing an item simply based on the brand name. Gutting our upcycled denim of its brand name is our way of freeing you and metaphorically making the brand YOU. Just you. You wear it, it doesn't wear you.


Q: WHY DENIM? 

A: Denim is like a little black dress; it's a wardrobe staple and NEVER goes out of style. We're a bit obsessed with all the ways you can dress it up and down, but also love the way our "art" never looks the same on each piece.

Q: Where does your denim come from and what method do you use to "art"?

A: Cleaning out our friends/relatives closets, clothing swaps, outdoor markets etc. The brand name never matters; we look for a versatile jean with a nice wash - period. Each item is hand painted, sketched, or bleached with a variety of different designs/patterns. 

The goal overall is to do our part (while also being creative & having fun) for the recycled fashion movement, chipping away at "fast fashion" in general, and giving the denim we find a 2nd life. Learn more on how to do your part here -> The Benefits Of Upcycling
